Understanding the Standard Is Not the Same as Knowing How to Apply It.
Technical cleanliness requirements are clear on paper — but applying them correctly in practice requires a different level of understanding. Knowing how to select the right extraction method, how to interpret a particle count result, or how to respond when a component fails specification are skills that only come from structured, practice-based learning.
At COTA, our training programs are delivered by specialists who work with these standards every day in our own laboratory. We don’t teach theory in isolation — we connect every concept to real analysis situations, common mistakes we’ve seen in the field, and the decisions your team will actually need to make.
Our programs are designed to serve different profiles within the organization: laboratory analysts who run the tests, quality and process engineers who define requirements and evaluate results, and technical managers who need to understand what cleanliness compliance means for their production and customer relationships.
Training can be delivered at our laboratory in Querétaro — where participants work with real equipment and components — or on-site at your facility. Group and individual formats are available, and content can be customized to your specific standards, OEM requirements, or internal procedures.
Many technical cleanliness training programs stop at explaining what the standard says. Ours go further — into how to apply it, what to do when results are ambiguous, and how to build the internal processes that make cleanliness control sustainable over time.
The goal is not just compliance with ISO 16232 or VDA 19.1 in a single audit. The goal is for your team to own the knowledge — to evaluate components with confidence, interpret results independently, and make informed decisions without needing to call a specialist every time.
We’ve trained analysts and engineers from Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers across the automotive sector, and we bring that accumulated field experience directly into every session.
